Hello, my name is Alex Wawl.

I'm Engineering Manager at Intercom. Before becoming an Engineering Manager I worked as Software Engineer in various companies. I worked for small outsourcing company and for big product companies. I was a Senior Product Engineer before moving into management.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, lifting weights, cycling, running, cooking, listening to music, learning guitar, and exploring whatever catches my interest at the moment.

I started this blog to share my thoughts and ideas about work, hobbies, and random topics. Some might be controversial or outdated. I'm not claiming to be the smartest person on Earth. I just capture a moment, jot down my thoughts, check for grammar, and publish. It's okay if I change my mind later.
